Hello! My name is Gabby DeRose, and I am currently a student at the University of Illinois at Chicago who is majoring in English with a concentration in professional writing. I am an aspiring author and artist in my spare time, but I focus on editing and critiquing for my studies and academic work. I enjoy writing fiction and fantasy primarily, but nonfiction writing is also atopic of interest for me when it comes to the environment and pop culture. Through my studies, I have learned how to properly and effectively write professionally and technically, as well as edit and draft different types of essays and papers. With the experience I have gained thus far, I hope to make my way into the working world as an editor in a publishing house!
